Privacy & Security Policy

Last updated August 23, 2026. This page explains what data ZEASDESIGN (“Zeas Design”, “we”, “us”) collects through www.zeasdesign.ca, why, and how it is protected.

1. What we collect

  • Contact and quote form data — name, email, and the project details you type (budget, timeline, scope) when you use the contact form or quote estimator.
  • Chat messages — what you type into the AI assistant, sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. We do not ask for or knowingly collect payment details, passwords, or government ID through the chat.
  • Usage analytics — pages visited, general location (country/region), device type, and referrer, via Google Analytics. This is aggregate and not tied to your name unless you also submit a form.

2. Why we collect it

  • To reply to your enquiry and follow up on a project.
  • To generate quote estimates and answer questions in the chat assistant.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
  • To detect and block spam or abusive use of our forms and AI tools.

We do not sell your data. We do not run ad-retargeting pixels.

3. Who processes it

We use a small number of vetted third-party providers, each bound by their own privacy and security terms:

  • Google Analytics — aggregate site usage.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — powers the chat assistant and quote estimator; your messages are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate a response.
  • Google Firebase (Firestore) — stores submitted lead/contact form data securely.
  • Resend — sends transactional email notifications when you submit a form.
  • Vercel — hosts the website and its server functions.

4. How we protect it

  • All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS.
  • Form submissions are rate-limited to reduce automated abuse of our contact, quote, and chat endpoints.
  • Access to stored lead data is restricted to studio staff who need it to respond to your enquiry.
  • API keys and credentials used by the site are kept server-side and are never exposed to the browser.

5. Cookies

Google Analytics may set cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

6. Data retention

Contact and quote submissions are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry and, where a project proceeds, for the duration of the engagement plus applicable record-keeping requirements. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to stop processing it, by emailing henry@zeasdesign.ca. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy as the site or our providers change. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
