About the studio

A small studio that ships.

Zeas Design was founded on a simple belief: digital design shouldn’t just be beautiful — it has to work.

We are a small, senior team based in Ontario, Canada, working with clients across Canada and the United States. Interior design studios in Florida, medical device manufacturers, hospitality suppliers — businesses where the website is doing real commercial work, not decorating a business card.

Since 2023 the studio has moved from web and brand into applied AI, because that is where the leverage moved. The same instinct drives both: find the part of the business that is slow, expensive or manual, and design something that takes it off your plate.

We also build and ship our own iOS products. That keeps us honest about estimates — we have sat through the same App Store rejections we help clients avoid.

How we operate

Four things we don’t compromise on.

Senior people only

The person you meet in the first call is the person who does the work. Nothing is handed down to a junior once the contract is signed.

We ship our own products

BillMaple and PawMaple are ours — live on the App Store, with real users and real reviews. We know what the last 10% of a launch actually costs, because we pay it too.

AI where it earns its place

We will tell you when a model is the wrong tool. Half the "AI features" people ask for are better served by a well-designed form and a good database query.

You own everything

Code, designs, accounts, API keys. No proprietary CMS you can only edit through us, and no hostage situation if you want to move on.

What working together looks like

Discovery

A working session on the business, the buyer and the numbers the project has to move. You leave with a written scope, not a mood board.

Design

Interface design in the browser, reviewed on real devices. You see the actual thing, not a flattened mockup that hides the hard parts.

Build

Next.js, SwiftUI or React Native, with AI capability designed in from the start rather than bolted on at the end.

Launch & iterate

Analytics, search console, store submission and a first optimisation pass once real traffic arrives.
